摘要
本文通过对以学生为中心的方法的描述来帮助本科生理解计算机视觉近几年的研究情况。该方法主要有两个特点：第一，在回顾了自己近期获得的一手资料后，学生自主选择一套背景主题来研究。第二，每个学生都研究一个背景主题，并与他人合作准备一份书面使用教程。该方法在以三个荣誉生为对象的小型探索性研究中取得了成功，可以以更大的小组为对象来进行深入研究。
Abstract
This paper describes a student centered approach to preparing undergraduates to understand recent research in computer vision. The approach has two primary features. First, the students choose the set of background topics to study after reviewing recent primary source materials themselves. Second, each student explores one background topic and prepares a written tutorial for use by the others. The technique was successful in a small pilot study of three honours students and warrants further investigation with larger groups.
